Ja då hämtade jag ut min fjärde skaljacka på ungefär lika många månader idag. En nyhet är att dom har börjat sy i en riktig dragkedja. ÄNTLIGEN! Plagget är sytt 2011 och lite mörkare i nyansen så jag förutsätter att det inte är en jacka som är moddad/lagad.

Endast grövre dragkedja i den långa. Till fickorna är det fortfarande den gamla kassa varianten.

Är dock ingen fin tätslutande variant som det var tidigare. Återstår att se om den håller tätt i höststormarna. Men än en hel dragkedja är bättre än att knäppa igen med endast den sporadiskt ditsydda kardborren....

Maybe I'll try to contact the manufacturer. I know that they're using GORE fabrics to make this, is there any indication which one ? Other idea is too look for other garment made using same fabrics

Actually, I've called surplus.se and asked the lady to provide more pictures & data on what she is selling, since I was not sure what is that ALE Cyclone Jacka.. she was just sure, that it is also a membrane fabrics, but that's it. I don't even know what year of manufacture and who the manufacturer is. I don't want to spend 4 000 SEK on some random gear

"Co. Nine AB" and "China" was the only thing i found on the label, except size and laundry instructions.

 

I've used both and i highly recommend Taiga.

 

Just don't bother with the ALE stuff.

Nu när man lyckats få ut en ett riktigt nice skalplagg vars dragkedja har hållit i snart ett halv år genom alla möjliga väderlekar så

börja det att ge efter och suger upp all vätska och fukt som kommer i kontakt med den. Någon som har nå bra tips på behandling av plagget?

Byt in mot ett annat på förrådet. Det borde vara tvättat och behandlat när du får ut det.
