I would improve it by rebarreling it to either .30 carbine/5.56/5.7/4.7mm or the new 6.5mm CBJ round and make it belt fed if possible. Quote

I guess this is another one of Russian experimental weapons Honestly - I can't se any benefit from a construction like that, exept maybe a possibility to switch between different ammo types... /O Quote

Jag lägger min röst på den här missbildningen: Charlton Automatic Rifle var tänkt som ett substitut för Bren och Lewis snabbeldsgevären i början av andra världskriget då dessa var svåra att få tag i. Hurvida den var ett lyckat vapen vet jag inte, men rent estetiskt sett kan jag inte komma på nåt större misslyckande. Den tillverkades i Australien och Nya Zeland i ca 1500 exemplar, och som tur är tros det bara finnas 3 stycken kvar. Den tillverkades i övrigt av Elecrolux. Edited July 3, 2008 by Ju-87Stuka Quote
