  1. Wondering if anyone has photos of these items, or can suggest a Swedish forum where members might have photos of the items. Thank you
  2. Page 2 is currently looking like And these - I can't read the M numbers on the original sheet - and wonder if anyone has a Tillbehörslista with the same items, so that I can check the items against the numbers - please
  3. Is there a list of part numbers with their descriptions, at all please? I looked at this page, but it just has names of items within that group
  4. Many thanks for your help The word "canopy" applies to both of these vehicle covers. The Alvis Stalwart one is a single nylon PVC sheet, compared to the Bedford canopy being made up of 6 sheets And canopy also applies to the tree cover and sun canopy in front of windows, etc
  5. Dear all, I wonder if there is an illustrated catalogue of Swedish military tools and accessories, or at a least a catalogue with descriptions of items, please? I've finally managed to track down a copy of the Tillbehörslista for the Amfibiebil 101 C. It's not the best copy, and whilst we can read the item name - we can't make out some of the numbers. There are also some things that are unknown. I wonder if anyone would be able to correct any of the numbers that are bold in the table of Page 2, please. And if you have photos or a list of descriptions for any of the items that that would be greatly appreciated. I have photos of the items highlighted in green Many thanks Mark
  6. 15 Swedish Stalwarts were bought by a British man in 1983. They're seen here waiting at Gothenberg before shipping back to the UK 5 101 C of those 15 101s were sold to Sri Lanka, to help in the fight against the Tamil tigers. One seen unloading here in 1985. Below shows #Stalwart driver training in Sri Lanka, with British civilians giving the instruction. The British civilians were not allowed off camp during their one month in Sri Lanka - in case they were kidnapped. They were issued with side arms, and told to use it if they ever felt threatened.
Tack så mycket Hi, I wonder if anyone has the Instruction book or Accessories list for the 13 litre insulated container, or knows where I can download it for someone please? Many thanks
Sorry to wake up an old thread. Wikipedia article has many errors on it, and I've given up trying to correct it. As I understand it, the Stalwarts were sold off between 1983 and 1986. I haven't found any evidence that any Stalwarts transferred from KA to AMF forces when the KA was transferred. The Stalwart is not armoured, as the weight when empty was already at 8.5 ton. The side and tailboards are aluminium. The cab upper is thin steel. However, the hull is thicker steel and has survived land mine blasts. The Stalwart was deployed to Aden (now South Yemen) in 1964. During the rising troubles, a number of Stalwarts suffered land mine damage. A couple of drivers suffered Battery acid burns as a result of the blast, but the hull generally protected anyone on board.
I'm researching the Amfibiebil 101, and looking for people's personal experiences and photos. Thanks for the add, and sorry for the Google translation. I'm ex British Army, Royal Engineers, and used to drive Alvis Stalwart in Germany. In 2013 I joined the HMLC Stalwart group on Facebook, which I now help to run. https://www.facebook.com/groups/110456768992136 During Lockdown 1 in 2020 I started to gather all the workshop and user manuals to keep myself occupied. I then started to research the Stalwart history, as there is so many errors on the Wikipedia page. I now have a website, which has a dedicated page to the Amfibiebil 101. Please do pay it a visit. https://sites.google.com/view/alvis-stalwart-hmlc-files/alvis-stalwart-hmlc-section/swedish-amfibiebil-101 I'm still confused of what the Stalwart was used for and by whom between 1962 and when the Rörliga spärrbataljon being formed in 1969. Any personal accounts or photos would be greatly appreciated. I've set up a public Facebook group for those who don't like answering joining questions on the Facebook groups. https://www.facebook.com/groups/7044169475613405 I have seen the digitalmuseum website - and all the kustartilleri groups and pages, and the Swedish museums on Facebook If you can share this to any groups or forums then that would be appreciated Many thanks for your help 101 A gjord 1962 x 2 101 B gjord 1965 x 6 101 C gjord 1966 x 18 till 20 Detta verkar vara på arméns rättegångar. Har 4-färgslack och Michelin XL-däck This appears to be on Army trials. Has a 4 colour paint scheme and Michelin XL tyres
