Guest seppos
Forgive me all the lack of ability to write this in sweedish I assume that this might be totally wrong forum to publish this but... If somebody could advice me to the correct forum that would be highly appreciated... Anyway... Here in Finland we have arranged national sniper competitions from year 2000. From the begining we have had foreign competitors challanging our national top snipers. As the Sweden is our nayboring country it might be a very good idea to have a team from there to... So if there is brave and accurate snipers there... the challange is casted...;) seppos

superapan
Jag hade för mig att man fortfarande är tvungen att lära sig svenska i finska skolor. (vilket är helt rätt! :P)
Gerle
Och precis som i Sverige betyder studier i ett ämne inte att man bemästrat det.
Guest seppos
Do not want to comment about the need of the swedish language in Finish schools. We have a common past and also a swedish speaking minority here.... My international experiences with fellow Swedish peace keepers are more than favourable... No need to discus about the language... English it is and spoken and understood perfectly by both partys... It also puts both nationalitys to the same level... Wich is important when we talk about proud sholdiers... No master and servant complex here...;) In previous sniper competitons we have had other nationalities... with different kind of success...;) As example could say from estonia, and USA... The level at the moment is hight here, (nothing to do with the language ) Who dares... wins.... or atleast get a unforgettable experiance... Guest seppos
What might be the situation in that side of the sea? Is there any sniper competitons in Sweden? And what kind of program they use to run in those... We shoot up to 1K as well as run the comp as a battle mission... couple of days in the forrest under the bare sky... Do you also offer a possibility to foreigners to participate the comp or are they arranged only to the own forces... Best way to compare the own capabilities against others is to test it against them... and in peace time the comps offer the perfect solutions for that... Of cource there is the possibility to be humiliated by foreigners, but it is also a learning experiance and you live after it... S

Guest seppos
For example on 2003 we had the privildge to follow the professonalism of ex-US army rangers... JB and JA who are one of the top snipers in the States... They took the third place in the comp and train as hard as hell... (14 000 rounds per year with sniper rifles...) JB also have a exelent facility in Texas where he trains people... Jacobs Hobby S

This of cource if there is anybody who dares to participate The level is high... I dont say that it is impossible but it is not a picnic either...;) S
