0815: Despite a foggy and cold morning welcoming our reporters at Bruntingthorpe today, there is a definate air of excitement as the worlds media gather.
0820: BBC are also reporting the flight.
0914: The fog is clearing and weather conditions are perfect. Aircraft was due to be rolled out of the hangar at 0900. Rumours abound of a slight "snag", although take off is still scheduled for 1130. Everything looks set.
0938: Looks to be a short, local flight - just 20 minutes or so.
0944: Contrary to earlier rumours, the aircraft has been declared servicable.
0950: She's due out of the hangar at any moment...
1002: It begins. She's being pushed out of the hanger into the sunshine as I type. Not long now!
1024: Nice little discovery courtesy TVOC forums. Just to get you in the mood...
1026: XH558 has now left the hanger, and is basking in the glorious weather we're enjoying today.
1100: Now being towed out to the engine start pan.
1120: Engines are about to start. All running to schedule, so she should be taking off on time. A little under 10 minutes or so.
1145: Preparations are underway! The crew are in and the aircraft is being ground powered, although the engines aren't yet running.
1148: Engine start is imminent...
1152: Ten minutes to engine start.
